Meet Clover
Clover is a 2-year-old English Setter. She began her work as a registered therapy dog with Intermountain Therapy Animals in January of 2018. She loves being with people especially dog loving kids of all ages. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is also a great bird hunter. She can be found in the office on Mondays and Thursdays.

Pharmacogenomics
Pharmacogenomics is the study of how a person’s genetic makeup affects response to medication. It aims to develop a strategy to optimize drug therapies. The patient’s genotype is used to try to maximize drug efficacy while minimizing adverse drug effects and drug-drug interactions.
In recent years, pharmacogenetic testing (PGT) as a routine clinical tool in patient care has become more commonplace. If you decide to have PGT, your provider can painlessly collect the sample in the office. Having this information greatly reduces trial and error periods when trying to select a new pharmacotherapy.
The Benefits of PGT are Clear:
- Improved patient outcomes when initiating drug regimens
- Reduced risk of adverse drug events
- Reduced risk of harmful drug-drug interactions
If you think PGT is for you, ask about it at your next visit.
